Two kilometers outside the village of Rosário, in the eastern part of Portugal's most natural province, you can find the Dutch/Italian-managed small-scale rural campsite Camping Rosário.
In the olive grove that surrounds our farmhouse, we have created a number of well-shaded pitches (max. capacity 50 persons). Peace, quiet and seclusion are guaranteed as we adhere to an adults-only (16+) policy.
Our property of more than 5 hectares borders the Lucefecit River and a branch of the Alqueva Lake, which is the largest in Europe at 250 km2. Large umbrellas provide shade around a private swimming pool. Comfortable deck chairs await you to relax, read or just doze away after your swim. Whether it’s school holidays or not, you needn’t worry about children running wild.
The campsite is situated at an excellent location for outdoor activities such as fishing, canoeing, hiking, birdwatching and stargazing, and for discovering the cultural and historical treasures of the Elvas-Évora-Monsaraz area.
Camping Rosário is open from February 19th, 2024 until October 1st, 2024. We strongly advise you to pre-book your date of arrival a couple of days in advance, as often there are space limitations for motorhomes and caravans.
